Enchant your home with the magic of this Persian Heriz rug.
The town of Heriz (pronounced Harees) is known as one of the most significant historical places in the Azerbaijan province. Heriz rugs are hand-woven by Azerbaijan Turkish inhabitants of the city. They are famous among collectors because of their soft earth-tone colors and geometric patterns. While no two Heriz carpets are identical, they generally tend to have a recognizable similarity. This Heriz is approximately 30 years old and in overall excellent condition. It features rich tones in red, navy blue, ivory, olive, black, gold, and light blue.
Slight variation in the color, design and size in each piece is normal in handmade rugs. Due to the difference of monitor colors, some rug colors may vary slightly. Overstock.com tries to represent all rug colors accurately. Please refer to the text above for a description of the colors shown in the photo. All rug sizes are approximate.
