Handmade by AMT, a cooperative of Mayan women in the western highlands of Guatemala, this generous twin-size patchwork quilt reflects the traditional craft of their region.
Each unique quilt is hand-embroidered with scenes drawn by Guatemalan children. An artistic yet practical creation, it even has tabs sewn to the corners so you can hang it as a tapestry. Like most handcrafted patchwork designs, it should either be hand washed in cold water and hung to dry, or dry cleaned.
A socially responsible product, this quilt represents art and emerging communities in its origin.
