This car was 100-percent hand-crafted and built from scratch. No model kits here. This task requires patience and skill and Vietnamese artisanshave spent hundreds of man-hours to finish each model. The world class woods used to build these models are subjected to rigorous seasoning procedures to ensure they will withstand any climate, preventing them from warping or splitting. The color of each model is either the original color of the wood used or painted. These ships are made in the small village of Phu Tuc, Vietnam. Situated in the Dong Nai province which is located in the eastern part of South Vietnam, east of Ho Chi Minh City, this province is known for it's strong, rich, unique woods and hand carved craftsmanship. The factory where these pieces are crafted employs over 100 people from the village and is growing.
