Enjoy hours of fun with Worldstock's classic Shut-the-Box game.
The game has been entirely handcrafted and handpainted by a family of artisans in the village of Ban Twai, located in the Golden Triangle region of northern Thailand. The object of the game is to 'shut' or flip as many numbers as possible by rolling dice. Shut the Box uses two dice and a special wooden playing tray. The tray features the numbers 1 - 9 in a row, each of which has a hinge and can be flipped over. A turn involves repeatedly throwing the dice and shutting a number or pair of numbers every throw. The turn ends when no numbers can be flipped upon the throw of the dice, at which point the player's total is calculated. The goal is to completely flip all numbers or 'shut the box' which results in the best possible score of zero.

The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in color and sizing. Subtle shade variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements are approximate.
