The Story Behind the Bowl
In a small town along the Central coast of Viet Nam, Le Anh Phi and her family as well as a small group of additional artisans have been perfecting the art of handcrafted bamboo items for many years. This trade has been passed down for several generations. By expressing their creative talents through the art of bamboo, it allows these artisans to earn a living outside of the traditional means of farming. Her children are gradually learning the process and when she no longer chooses to run the business, it will then be passed on to them.
